When we moved into our 50-year-old home, the kitchen really needed to be updated. Cockcroft Construction took everything out but the floor and ceiling and made us a completely new room. We are very pleased with the results. After telling Warren Cockcroft what we had in mind, he drew up some plans, gave added suggestions, and a quote that we thought was fair.
We were impressed with the high quality of the work done on that project, and that was because Warren closely supervised the crew that he brought in, actually working with them much of the time. He also kept close tabs on the subcontractors he hired, so we ended up with good electrical, plumbing, cabinets, and countertops that we are still very pleased with.

Cockcroft Construction was there from beginning to end. Everything from design and drawing services to the final coat of paint was seen through to the end for our custom home. Cockcroft was able to work within our budget and still provide a highly detailed custom home at all levels of the process. Cockcroft figured cost savings while still working with uniquely shaped reclaimed wood and salvaged brick along side modern construction methods like energy efficient spray foam insulation, fresh-air intake and tankless water heater. My wife loves our home so much that she regularly says she plans on living here the rest of our lives. When it comes time to finish out certain future phase parts of the basement or detached garage I plan on having Cockcroft Construction complete the work. Due to an unexpected passing, we had to get my mother moved into our home, as quickly as possible. Other contractors wanted months and couldn't start for weeks. Cockcroft Construction helped us move mom in, six weeks after our first meeting. In that time, Warren Cockcroft and his team converted two rooms into one large bedroom with a beautiful walk in closet. Moved walls doubling the size of the bathroom and completely remodeled it from floor to ceiling. Moved a wall and all the laundry connections turning a cramped laundry area into a spacious laundry room with all new shelving on all walls, turning the empty overhead space into usable storage. Our garage had a very high ceiling, Warren is so inovative, he turned the space above the garage door into a 10 x 20 storage room.
We are extemely picky and wouldn't settle for anything but the best for Mom. Cockcroft Construction didn't hand us off to a project manager with no real authority, as is standard practice for most companies. Warren, himself, was on site every day. He and his friendly, professional staff made the entire experience as close to a pleasure as having your house remodeled can be.
